After the battle, we wanted to see how a normal medieval day could be and also we were really hungry. So we reached Piazza San Giovanni, the square of the beautiful cathedral of Volterra, where they recreated a big medieval market
with its activities …
potter, baker, carpenter, and more …
We found also a lot of “appealing” medieval food stalls, where we tried delicious soups, tasty cold cuts, savoury cheese and fresh fruits
here my medieval sandwich with a big slice of melted pecorino cheese incredibly delicious !!!
Satisfied our appetite, we moved to Piazza dei Priori that became the perfect place for “our fearless knights” ( Marco and his friend Michele) and their fights with their new wooden swords
Here my brave little knight !!!
Bellissima giornata !!! I suggest everybody to have an experience like this !!!
